EXTERIOR CLEANING TECHNICIAN

Full time / Part time

South Sound Softwash, is a locally owned and operated, full service, exterior cleaning business for both
residential and commercial buildings. We service the greater Puget Sound area. We will train you to
expertly perform exterior cleaning services through both “On the Job Training” and our Computer base
Training system.

Duties include, but are not limited to; climbing up and down steep to easily walkable pitched roofs,
gutter cleaning, pressure washing, exterior building cleaning and window washing. As an assistant
technician you will be helping with the setup and breakdown of equipment, as well as keeping company
equipment maintained and serviceable. We provide operational checklist and L & I approved safety
equipment.

Job Ideal for someone who:

Has prior experience in roofing, painting, or window and gutter installation

Is Detail oriented – do you take pride in your work, your company and yourself

Is Team oriented – cooperative and supportive with Good communication skills

Requirements:

Reliable transportation with a clean driving record and able to be commercially insured

Pass a criminal background check

Must speak and understand English

Dependable, punctual, self-motivated and organized

Must be physically capable of lifting 50lbs. Some positions require climbing ladders and working on roofs

Must not be sensitive to strong smells

Company provided apparel must be worn and be presentable while at work

Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Schedule:

Shift start: 7:30 – 8:00 am

Shift length – 8-10 hours/day

Days per week vary: 3-5 days/week, some nights/weekends for commercial buildings

Pay: Assistant Technician – $16-18/hr

Lead Technician – $20-30/hr
